Sunset Pool Management, Inc. (2701 N Pershing Dr, Arlington, VA 22201, 202-524-6200, email: hr@sunsetpool.org) is seeking 5 temporary full-time Swimming Pool Supervisors to supervise swimming pool maintenance personnel, create schedules, train staff, ensure pool cleanliness and safety compliance, maintain equipment, manage emergencies, identify service projects, perform minor repairs, secure and maintain health department permits, and winterize pools at season’s end within the metro Washington, D.C. area, including the following counties within the State of Virginia: Alexandria City, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Manassas City; the following counties within the State of Maryland: Montgomery County, Prince George’s County; and the District of Columbia, from 04/01/2026 – 10/31/2026.
Candidates must be 18 years or older, must be able to swim, and must be able to lift 50 pounds. 35 hrs/week, M–F, possibly Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.; hours may vary. Must have a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational skills required. Must obtain American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguard Certification; training may be coordinated by the employer, but the cost of certification is paid by the employee.
Company transportation provided for work-related travel between job sites; supervisors will be assigned a company vehicle and may be required to sign a separate vehicle use agreement. Drug testing may be conducted upon suspicion or post-accident; cost paid by employer. Voluntary shared housing available at $195/week, deducted from paycheck. Employees may choose to make their own housing arrangements.
Wage offer: $26.42/hour. The employer is OT exempt per FLSA 13(a)(3). The employer reserves the right to award merit pay increases and/or bonuses to employees at the employer’s discretion. A single workweek will be used for computing wages due. Workers will be paid biweekly. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the company will reimburse the worker reasonable costs of transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. The cost of return transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early for any reason. The amount of transportation reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, and border crossing fees. The employer will provide tools, supplies, and equipment without charge or deposit. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period.
